Introduction
This project involves two colleagues and me working remotely to create a 2D game incorporating classic Zelda elements.
Gameplay
The game is designed with a 2D, aerial view that emulates the classic Zelda games, offering players the ability to select from a range of character types, including archers and mages.​

Each character type has a distinct animation for combat, with some capable of ranged attacks and others not.
The map comprises a variety of regions, including forests, deserts, and dungeons, each with distinct hazards.
The game features a variety of maps that players can explore freely. They can interact with villagers to purchase equipment such as armor and weapons to enhance their stats.Another notable feature is the ability to engage in conversations with non-player characters (NPCs). Players can choose from a range of responses, some of which may result in consequences.


Development
This project was initiated on a Discord server with the objective of gaining experience in working in a team and remotely. My role in this project was to create scenarios with varying geographical features and adversaries, including designated areas for boss encounters.
